Obituary for Kathleen Jukus
Kathleen Jukus, age 59, of South Amboy, passed away Wednesday January 19, 2022, at RWJ, New Brunswick. Born in New Brunswick on August 21, 1962, to Bennie and Maryann Scibek, she had resided in South Amboy for most of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, and daughter and will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. For all who knew Kathi, her favorite pastimes were shopping - especially on Black Friday, and Monday nights watching The Bachelor & Dancing With The Stars.
She is predeceased by her father Bennie Scibek. Surviving are her beloved husband of 37 years Thomas Jukus, her mother Maryann Scibek, her son Michael Jukus and fiancé Veronica, her daughter Casey Ziola and husband Jay, her sister Geriann Kanca and husband Ken, and her nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Kenny, Megan and Kevin as well as many great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 8:30am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville followed by a 9am mass at Saint Stanislaus Kostka R. C. Church in Sayreville with burial to follow at Saint Stanislaus Cemetery, Sayreville.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Sunday from 1pm to 5pm
