Obituary for Joyce M Fetyko (Ivsac)
Joyce M. Fetyko, age 75 of Matawan passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Spring Hills at Matawan. Born in New Brunswick she had resided in South River before moving to Matawan a few years ago. Before her retirement she was employed as a saleswoman by Sears in New Brunswick for many years. Joyce enjoyed fishing, playing bingo, vacations and especially loved spending time with her family. She will truly be missed by her loving family and friends.
She is predeceased by her mother Lorraine Behaney. Surviving are her children Faith Fetyko, Paul Fetyko and his wife Patti, Laura Fetyko and Marc Fetyko, her grandchildren Christina, Stefan, Jennifer and Kaylee, her siblings Jean Crandel, Maryjane Weiss, Johni Manno and her husband Mike, Christopher Behaney, her former spouse Frank Fetyko and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 3pm to 6pm at the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave, South River. A Prayer Service will take place at 5:30pm. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Joyce’s name to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
