Josephine (Juju) Boyle

1933-2021

Josephine, Juju, Boyle (nee Quattromini), 88, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2021 surrounded by family. Juju was born on March 22, 1933, to Salvatore and Marie Quattromini. She was raised in Jersey City and worked hard as a waitress for most of her life, working at the White Manor and the Plankboard Inn. Juju loved being with her family and found great joy in playing with her grandkids and great grandkids. She raised her 3 daughters, Marie, Helen, and Barbara, and then as a devoted grandmother she helped raise her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Juju enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports and continued watching her great grandchildren and being involved in their activities. Juju loved unconditionally and left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Juju is predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Marie Quattromini, her loving husband, Robert Boyle, her daughter Helen Soto (Boyle), her great grandson Joseph Riddle, and her sisters Annie Gourley, Francie D’Agosta, Chicky Reiss, Fanny Buttiglieri, and Rose Bielan. Leaving to mourn her are her daughters Marie Spinelli (Boyle) and her husband Carmine, Barbara Boyle and her husband Charles Rutkowski, and son in law Michael Soto. She also leaves behind her loving grandchildren Frank Spinelli and his wife Lisa, Robin Soto, Melissa Jones and her husband Corey, Gerilyn Pettus and her husband Mahdi, Gina Soto, Gerald Orrico, Jr and his wife Crystal, and Vinny Soto, and 13 great grandchildren Tazia, Diana Bella, Haylee, Jaeden, Derrick, Natalia, Julien, Adrienne, JT, Gerald III, and Adrianna Richie. She is survived by her sisters Teresie Scott and Sandy McKechnie and brothers Joseph and Frankie Quattromini, and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin NJ 08859, Friday, May 21, 2021 from 3pm – 7pm. Prayer services at the funeral home will take place at 6pm. As there is no burial service, the family respectfully requests no flowers. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, please note that a maximum of 125 visitors will be allowed in at once and masks must be worn at all times.
