Josephine Starosciak, age 100, of South Amboy, passed away peacefully at Saint Joseph’s Nursing Home on March 25, 2021. Born in South Amboy she was a lifelong resident of the city. Before her retirement Josephine worked as a seamstress for Komar’s in South Amboy. She was a member of the South Amboy Seniors and the Sacred Heart Rosary Society and will be remembered fondly for her love of bingo and spending time with grandchildren.
Josephine is predeceased by her loving husband Frank Starosciak. She is survived by her son and daughter in law Frank and Linda Starosciak, her grandchildren and their spouses Amy and Anthony Iannacci and David and Yaritza Starosciak, her sister Helen Kuc and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services are Wednesday 9:30am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, with a 10am Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Amboy. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 3pm to 7pm
