Obituary for Joseph A Vanore

Delray Beach, FL

Joseph A Vanore, age 72 passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Delray Medical Center in Florida. Born in Jersey City, Joseph and his wife moved to Parlin to raise their family. After his recent retirement, they relocated to Delray Beach, FL. Joe was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked for the Department of Defense for over 30 years. Joe's grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life. He will be remembered fondly for his unyielding generosity and for his love of his family, who he always put first. Joe was a loving husband, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and so much more. He will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He is predeceased by his parents, Louis and Eveyln Vanore.

Surviving is his adored wife Fran of 50 years, his cherished children Joseph Vanore and his wife Aileen, Michelle Vanore-Moe and her husband Charlie as well as his much loved grandchildren DJ, Alexis, Ashley, Josephine and Charlie; his siblings Josephine Kickey and her spouse Robert and Louis Vanore and his spouse Elaine; and many loving nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.


A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 24th at 10am at Sacred Heart RC Church in South Amboy.
Calling hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin will be Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
