Obituary for Joseph A Sliczynski
Joseph A. Sliczynski, age 85 of South River passed away peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Roosevelt Care Center in Old Bridge. Born in South River, he was a lifelong borough resident. He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Before his retirement he was employed as a Mechanical Technician for DuPont in Parlin for 30 years. Joseph was a communicant of St Mary of Ostrabrama RC Church in South River.
He is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Viola Sliczynski. Surviving are his daughter; Joanne Hurley and her husband Eric and his son; Robert Sliczynski.
Funeral services will take place on Thursday with a 10am Mass at St Mary of Ostrabrama RC Church in South River. Burial will follow at St Mary’s Cemetery in East Brunswick. Funeral services are under the direction of the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave, South River.
