Obituary for Joseph W Kieselowsky

Parlin
Joseph W. Kieselowsky, 84, entered into eternal rest on December 11, 2020, at Hackensack Meridian Health Raritan Bay Medical Center. He suffered from complications due to Covid-19. He was born in Moscow, PA, and raised on the family dairy farm. He attended North Pocono High School before proudly serving his country in the U.S. Air Force as a B-36 Mechanic from 1954-1958 earning the rank of Staff Sergeant.

He moved to Parlin, NJ, in 1964. He was employed by the Berg Agency selling area homes, and later by Sears, Roebuck & Co. designing custom kitchens. He was well-known in Sayreville for cutting lawns along with his wife, Anna, helping along the way. He enjoyed working on small machines (lawn mowers, snow blowers, etc.), hunting, building more than 2500 birdhouses now located all over the world, and so many good times with family and friends. He could build or fix just about anything and especially loved woodworking. He loved his Polkas, country music, telling good jokes and stories, and his martinis. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend; he touched so very many lives. He loved being around family and friends always making memories. His ability to fix anything was legendary. His overwhelming kindness will be sadly missed as well as his welcoming smile!

Joe was preceded in death in 1997 by his first wife, Barbara J. (Hebert) Kieselowsky, from Kankakee, IL, and one brother, Peter S. Kieselowsky, of Moscow.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Anna (Lakuta) Kieselowsky, his sister, Gloria Werner and her husband, Ronald, of Blairstown, NJ, his brother Robert and his wife, Barbara, of Moscow, PA. He is survived by his children: Joseph of Moscow, PA, Richard of Andover, NJ, Steven and his wife, Karen, of Sayreville, NJ, his daughter, Deborah and partner, Mario Lamola, of Monroe Twp, NJ. He has four grandchildren: Nikita Kieselowsky, Natasha Orzel and her husband, Andrew, Garrison Kieselowsky, Quinn Kieselowsky, and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by two stepdaughters, Natasha and Valentina Lakuta and their families in Ukraine.
