Obituary for Joseph A Karas
Joseph A. Karas, age 63 of North Brunswick passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in South Amboy he had resided in North Brunswick for the past 28 years. He was a US Army Veteran. He was employed as a trackman for Amtrak in Newark for 17 years. He enjoyed cooking and barbequing, loved to be around the ocean, was a NHRA drag racing fan and he was a ham radio operator. Joseph was a devoted husband and father and will sadly be missed by all his friends and family.
He is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Alexandria. Surviving are his wife Laura Hofer Karas and his son Andrew Karas of North Brunswick.
