Joseph S. Zaleski Jr., age 61 passed away with his loving family at his side on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel, NJ. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ he was a lifelong resident of the state. Joseph was a graduate of Saraville War Memorial High School and later worked for General Motors for over 30 years.
He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Joseph is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Carolyn Zaleski and his beloved partner Barbara Righetti. Surviving are his siblings, Jeffrey Zaleski Sr., Cynthia Zaleski and Dawn Szeszko, his nieces and nephew, Melanie, Danielle, Jeffrey Jr., Ashley and Rosie, his stepdaughter Melanie and many cousins and friends.

Joseph’s passion was fishing. His favorite place to be was on a boat on the water doing what he did best. Joseph loved working alongside his favorite band and close friends, Tesla. He also enjoyed going to concerts and spending time with friends. “ To all of those that think of me, be happy as I go out to sea. If others wonder why I’m missin’ just tell them I’ve gone fishin’.”
