Obituary for Jose Jodar
Jose Jodar, age 70 passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020 in Piriapolis, Uruguay. Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, he first came to The United States in 1978, to try for a better life. He shortly returned for his wife and kids. He, along with his family, came to live in North Bergen, NJ in 1984. For many years, he lived with his wife and three children in Parlin, NJ. Before his retirement, Jose worked for NU World Corporation in Carteret for several years as a mechanical engineer.
He is predeceased by his parents Francisco and Esperanza Jodar. Surviving are his children Guillermo Alejandro and his wife Jacqueline, Horacio and his partner Kathryn, Vanessa and her fiancé Danny and his son Daniel, his grandchildren Justin, Isaac, Jaelin, Leilani, Camila, and Emilia, his wife Cristina, Jose's brother Martin and his wife Celene, his sisters Ana and Judith, and nieces Carol and husband Patrick, Joanna and fiance Max, Patricia and husband Javier, nephew George and his wife Jenifer, and all of their children along with many other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday from 3pm-7pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a private cremation to follow.
