Obituary for John J Radich

Sayreville
John J. Radich, age 80, of Sayreville, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. Born in Perth Amboy, he had resided in Sayreville for over 50 years. Before his retirement, John worked as a machine operator for Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick for 34 years. He was an active member of the Gateway Community Church in Manalapan.
John loved to scrap metal and spent most of his retirement doing so. He loved fishing and family camping vacations with his children. He was famous for his pumpkin pies that he made every holiday. John was a Jack-of-all-Trades and was always helping others fix something. He loved spending time with his family watching football and his greatest joy was watching his grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents John and Elsie Radich, and his brothers-in-law Leon Bowen and Anthony Grecco.
Surviving are his loving wife of 49 years, the former Barbara Klimcsak, his children and their spouses John J. Radich III & Erika, Rosemarie Radich, Michelle Radich, Carolyn Marottoli, Michael Radich & Jessica, Nicholas Radich & Tara, 19 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and his siblings and their spouses Rosemarie Bowen, Dennis & Sharon Radich, Lorraine Grecco, Doreen & Douglas Field and Ronald & Michelle Radich.
Funeral services will be Friday 10am at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, followed by a burial at New Calvary Cemetery in Parlin.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 4pm to 8pm.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, please note that a maximum of 50 visitors will be allowed inside the building at once and masks must be worn at all times. We encourage visitors to limit their time in the building to allow the family the maximum amount of guests possible.
