Obituary for John S Kosovich Jr.
John Kosovich Jr., age 72, of South River passed away peacefully with his children by his side on Wednesday March 22, 2023 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in South Amboy, he resided in NJ his entire life. John was a loving son, father, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend and so much more. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
He is predeceased by his parents John Sr. & Rena Kosovich, sister Gail Chapin, & brother Bruce Kosovich. Surviving are his loving children Jamie Hedenburg and husband Jeffrey Hedenburg of Monroe, NJ, Lindsey Nelson of Old Bridge, NJ, Alexander Kosovich & wife Fathima Kathrada of Yardley, PA and Gregory Kosovich of Old Bridge, NJ. Also surviving are his former wife Anna Zur Christiano and brother in law Michael Chapin of Eustis, Fl. John had 5 lovely grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
John was a die-hard NY Yankee fan. He was very involved with the community in his younger years with his children which was including but not limited to, coaching the Old Bridge Rams youth football team along with the Old Bridge Little League.
