Condolences

Condolence From: Frank Dill
Condolence: I was a student of Mr. Bernosky's my sophomore year 1982-83 and everybody loved him. He was a uniquely charismatic teacher who was extremely passionate about teaching. He was genuinely sincere and the real deal, always smiling and generous...one of the nicest human beings I ever met. Even after high school, he would come into Foodtown of South Amboy where I worked and would always take time to talk. My sincere condolences to his family.

Condolence: I’m so sorry to hear of Mr Bernosky’s passing. He was the teacher with - by far - the greatest positive impact on my life. His enthusiasm and deep caring took a kid who was ready to drop out of high school and put him on a path to success. You could always sense his excitement for an upcoming unit even from weeks out. It was goofy, endearing, and infectious. Competing with him in the NJSL was engaging and fun. The other three members of our team have gone on to get an MD/PhD, a degree in microbiology, and an engineering degree. Mr. Bernosky was truly inspiring and I will always be thinking of him on April 25th, National DNA day. My deepest condolences for your loss.

Condolence: My deepest condolences and blessings to Taylor, Laura and family. It was always a pleasure to see John at shows. He was a real gentleman and I could feel how close and connected he was to his family which I greatly admired. I will miss him as I know the entire Summer of Love family will. That being said the people we love never truly leave us. They are always in our hearts and in our minds. We can hear their voices. They are part of our souls.

Our hearts are broken and our thoughts and prayers go out to Laurel, Taylor, Bree and your entire family. May you find some comfort knowing he was loved by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.
Hold onto all the happy memories because that will keep John alive in your hearts and in your minds and he will continue to live on through you.

Condolence: Our deepest condolences to Mr. B’s family. He was an awesome teacher and coach who cared about his students, our school and our community. He was a new, young teacher when both Joe and I were his students. His intelligence, demeanor, genuine interest and caring came across to us and is the reason we loved and respected him so much.
Know what a tremendous and positive impact your husband, father, brother and friend had on so many young people. Our prayers are with you. Rest In Peace Mr. B.
