Obituary for Joaquim Capitaz
Joaquim Capitaz, age 77 of Parlin passed away with his loving family at his side on February 17, 2021. Born in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal Joaquim had resided in Parlin for the past 4 years as well as being a longtime resident of Elizabeth.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years Carmen Capitaz, his son David Capitaz and his daughter and son in-law Arlene and Nuno Venancio, his grandchildren Valerie and Tyler Venancio as well as many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Calling hours at the Carmen F Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin, NJ 08859 are Sunday, from 1pm to 5pm. Funeral services begin Monday 8:45am at the funeral home, 9:30am St Bernadette’s R.C Church, Parlin. Burial to follow at New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin. Due to Covid-19 regulations, there is a limited number guests allowed in the building at once and masks must be worn at all times.
