Joanne Loretta Zubrzycki (Neiss), age 62, peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick with her loving family at her side. Born in Perth Amboy to the late William and Musette Neiss, Joanne had previously lived in California and Jersey City before settling in Sayreville for over 50 years. She is a proud graduate of Sayreville High School. Mrs. Zubrzycki worked at Shop Rite in Parlin with the scanning department for more than 20 years as well as with Leahy Business Archives in East Brunswick. Loved by so many, she will forever be missed by all who knew and cared for her.

Joanne is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years Ron Zubrzycki of Sayreville; her 2 loving children Alexandra and Kevin Zubrzycki, both of Sayreville; her siblings and their spouses Gae and Leo Burger of Brick, Jeffrey, Sr. and Diane Neiss of South Plainfield, and Laura and James Stewart of Maple Shade; her nieces and nephews Christopher, Jeffrey, Jr, Melissa, Michael, and Stephanie; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation hours will take place on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a prayer service scheduled for 7pm. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joanne’s name to the American Cancer Society at http://main.acsevents.org/goto/JoanneZ.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, please note that a maximum of 100 visitors will be allowed inside the building at once and masks must be worn at all times. We encourage visitors to limit their time in the building to allow the family the maximum amount of guests possible.
