the day they released me from the hospital w baby sierra eve I had a horrible allergic reaction 2 a drug.joanna met me in the er.drs were saying we can save her but she wont be able 2 breastfeed.joanna dug in her heels n mommed up n asked pleaded for a second opinion.she got it...I was saved n my baby 2.she is a champion 2 me always.i am forever grateful for her being a mom 2 me and most of all helping n teaching me how 2 mom.
and now little sierra eve is 25.director of admissions at humbolt state university.a leader n award winner in her community for advancing diversity acceptance in the LGBTQ community and a fighter for social justice on all fronts.joanna would be proud.

I would end by saying I missed Matt's service came a day late but spent 3 days w jo in pjs watching one point I laid my head on her lap n she stroked my hair n told me what a beautiful family I had.good lord so much because of her.forever thankful.

Finally you can rest easy, your pain gone. Heaven gained a true angel. Always positive, loving, and understanding. I will miss you my sister from another mister. R.I.P. to one of the strongest women I’ve ever known.

What can I say about Joanna? She was the nicest strongest woman that I’ve had the honor to be sister in laws with! Always a kind word for everyone she knew! She always found the good in people even if they were not so good! She has always been there for me and my family since she came into our family. Our children grew up together and we spent many summer at the Edgar rd house swimming and having a barbecue. She also was the best pie maker I ever met. I have too many memories to list but I can tell you this , heaven gained a real angel the day she left us. She is missed already. Rip my sister. I know you are finally at peace. Love you forever. Love Kate.❤️
