Obituary for Joan Mayer (Anderson)
Joan Mayer (Anderson), age 87, of Parlin, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2020, in Edison, NJ. Joan was an amazing woman who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend and so much more.
Joan is predeceased by her loving husband, Everett “Newsie” Mayer and her parents Oscar “Andy” and Faye Anderson. Surviving are her children and their spouses Susan and Andrew Carollo, Nancy and John “J” Kinasczuk, Scott and Cheryl Mayer, Joan and Ron Reardon, and Todd and Lisa Mayer. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Allison, John, Lauren, Lynn, Brian, Michael, Matt, Timmy, Abby and 3 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
