Jimmy D. Stewart, age 83, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023 at his home, with his loving family by his side. Born in Gibsland, LA, Jimmy grew up in Bossier City, LA and moved to Monroe Township in June 2022. Before his retirement, he worked in finance for several pioneering technology companies and as a financial advisor in his later years. During his career he traveled to 4 continents and lived in London, England with his family for several years. Jimmy was an avid reader and bass fisherman and loved watching movies, especially Westerns.
He is predeceased by his parents Travis and Rubye Stewart.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 63 years, Martha Hunter Stewart; his loving children Sandra D. Barletta, Jeffrey S. Stewart, and Jason H. Stewart; his cherished grandchildren Blake, Keith, Chelsea, Abbey, Morgan, Jack, and Carter; and his great-granddaughter Chloe.
Services are private, entrusted to Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Ave. South River.
