Jean Kodada, age 95 of Sayreville passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Venetian Care Center. She was born in Newark, NJ. She then settled in Sayreville, NJ with her adored family. Jean worked as a bookkeeper before her retirement. Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and so much more. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Jean is predeceased by her husband Edward as well as her siblings Nathan Katz, William Katz, Esther Welkofsky, Sally Hayden, Gertrude Morris and Mary Moskowitz. She is survived by her adored son Ernest & Patricia Kodada as well as her grandchildren David & Lisa Kodada, Renee & Kevin Murphy and Michael & Crystal Kodada, her great grandchildren Thomas Murphy, Lucas Kodada, Patrick Murphy and Kayla Kodada, her niece Geraldine Moskowitz well as many loving cousin, neighbors and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 10am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Ln, Parlin with a 11am prayer service at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge NJ. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm.
