Janine L. Bloom Donato, age 42 formerly of Sayreville, passed away Thursday January 16, 2020 at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ, surrounded by her loving family. Janine worked St. Peter’s University Hospital as a unit secretary. Prior to that, she worked as a residential counselor with Easterseals for several years. Janine received her Bachelor’s Degree from Kean University. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Janine was a Dead Head and cat lover. She was active on the PTA at South River Primary School and was a member of the Mom’s Club. She was a communicant of St. Stephen’s Protomyrter RC Church in South River.
Surviving are her husband of 14 years, Joseph Donato, her beloved daughter Jessica, her parents Joel and Lucy Bloom, her brothers and their wives Michael and Jennifer Bloom, Kevin and Renee Bloom, her mother-in-law and father-in-law Joseph and Christine Donato, her brother-in-law Jason Donato, her nieces and nephews Mason, Amelia, Adriana, and AJ Bloom, Sara and Tara Kestler, Mia Elizabeth Donato and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 9am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin, with a 10am mass at St. Stephen’s Protomyrter Church in South River. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in South Brunswick.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday, January 20, 2020 from 3pm to 8pm.
