Obituary for Janina Zajac

Janina Zajac, age 72, of New Brunswick, peacefully passed away on February 9, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Lipnica, Poland to the late Jakub and Stefania Gorak, Janina immigrated to New Jersey many years ago and has lived in both New Brunswick and South River ever since. Before coming to the US, she joyfully care for children of all ages. Janina leaves behind many dear family members and friends in both Poland and the United States. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Janina is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years Zbigniew Zajac of South River; her loving daughter and son-in-law Agnieszka and Slawomir Kata of Poland; her grandchildren Nikodem and Tymon; and her brothers and their spouses Jerzy and Ewa Zajac of South River, Leszek and Zofia Zajac of Poland, and Jan and Cecylia Zajac of Sayreville.
A viewing is scheduled for Saturday from 2pm to 6pm at the M.A. Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue, South River with religious services at 5pm. Burial will take place in Poland at a later date.
