Obituary for Ismael Blas
Ismael Blas, age 64 of Queens, NY passed away on Saturday, February 16th 2019 at The Beacon Rehabilitation Center in Rockaway Park, NY. Born in Brooklyn, NY he had resided there for most of his life. Before his retirement he was employed in Guest Services by The Peninsula Hotel in Queens for many years. Ismael will be missed by all who knew him especially for his jokes and good spirits.
He is predeceased by his parents Ismael and Virtudosa Blas and his nephew Emmanuel S. Zammit. Surviving are his sister Virginia Zammit of South Amboy, his niece Toni Marie Zammit and his great niece Emmanuela Algerio.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a prayer service at 7pm.
