One of a Kind

I just found out today about Irene's passing. I was her supervisor at the Manchester library for a few years and she always made me smile. When I first met her she was writing a song title on a piece of paper and she then put it in her pocket. I asked her what she was writing and she said when she thought of a song she liked she wrote it down because she wanted it played at her funeral. I never heard of that before and thought it was such a great idea! She always had lipstick on her, too. She was waiting for Paul Newman to walk through the libraries doors. My deepest sympathy to you both Linda and John. She was a very special woman.
