Obituary for Irene Baranowski (Marcinczyk)
Irene Marcinczyk Baranowski, age 84 of Toms River, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at her home. Born in Brooklyn she had resided in Sayreville before moving to Toms River 23 years ago. Before her retirement, Irene was employed by the Ocean County Library in the Manchester Branch as a librarian assistant.
She is predeceased by her parents Walter and Bertha Marcinczyk, her husband Edward and her brothers Edward and Frank Marcinczyk. Surviving are her son John Baranowski of Toms River and her daughter Linda Baranowski Perlberg and her husband Dennis of Huntington, NY.
Funeral services will be held 11am Monday at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 2pm to 5pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Irene’s name to Van Dyke Hospice in Toms River or to the Monmouth County SPCA.
