Irene Kosominski, age 93, of South Amboy, passed away Sunday, October 8th 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born and raised in Carteret to the late Anthony and Alexandria Mioduszewski, she later moved to South Amboy after being married. Prior to retirement, Irene was a housekeeper for Perth Amboy Nursing Home.

Irene is preceded in death by her beloved husband John Komosinski, her brothers Frank and Henry Mioduszewski, her sister Jane Klimkewicz, and her grandson Bryan Ambroziak.
She is survived by her daughter Christine Savage of Toms River, Carol Ambroziak of Monroe Township, her son John Komosinski Jr. of South Amboy, her grandchildren Jonathan Savage, Jessica McCabe, Jennette Bremer, Matthew Ambroziak, Steven Komosinski, and John Komosinski, as well as thirteen great grandchildren. Irene will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Viewing hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, NJ 08859 are on Sunday, October 15th from 12pm to 4pm. Funeral services on Monday, October 16th, begin at 11am. Burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin, NJ.
