Heather Susan Dunyak, age 43, of South River, peacefully passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, with her loving family at her side. Born in New Brunswick to Terrance and Susan Dunyak, Heather was raised in South River, having graduated from South River High School in 1996. Heather loved to draw, listen to music, and play video games. However, there was nothing more important to her than spending time with her dear son, Andrew. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Heather is predeceased by her dear mother Susan Dunyak. Surviving is her beloved son Andrew Clayton of PA; her sister and brother-in-law April and Vincent Trzeciak of Edison, and brother Marc Dunyak of East Brunswick; her father Terrance Dunyak of Old Bridge; her grandmother Marie Watsey, affectionately known as “Ma”, of South River; her Aunt Marie Watsey of South River; as well as many loving cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Calling hours will take place on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm at M.A. Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue, South River. A private cremation will follow.
