Hattie Pawlowski, age 92, of South River of passed away Tuesday November 19, 2019 at her home with her loving family at her side. Born in South River she had been a lifelong resident of the borough. Before her retirement Hattie worked as a switch board receptionist at Macy’s, East Brunswick.

She is predeceased by her adoring husband Stanley J. Pawlowski, her son Thomas Pawlowski, her siblings Bernard Mieszkuc, Regina Bergen, Charles Mieszkuc, Anna Ksepka and Leona Marie DeVoe. Surviving are her children, Patricia Cherry, Richard Pawlowski, Stanley Pawlowski, Joseph Pawlowski, John Pawlowski and Anne Ligas, her 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren who all will dearly miss their “Grandma”, “Nana”, “Babci” as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Calling hours at Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue, South River will be held Friday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Funeral services will take place Saturday, 8:30am at the funeral home with a 9am Mass at St. Mary of Ostrabrama R.C Church, South River. Burial will follow at St Stan’s Cemetery, Sayreville. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Hattie’s name to St. Mary of Ostrabrama R.C Church.
