Obituary for Glenn Patrick Barnhart

South River
Glenn Patrick Barnhart, age 27, of South River, suddenly passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Born in New Brunswick, Patrick was raised in New Hope, PA before living in South River in recent years. After graduating high school, he went on to study music, specifically jazz guitar, earning an associates degree in a field which he loved dearly. Glenn was a quiet soul, but was loudest when sharing his deepest loves – his puppies Abu and Cuckoo, music, and the idea of being free to travel the world. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Glenn is survived by his beloved mother and father Janine Walijeski and Eric Barnhart, both of South River; his loving siblings Sabrina of South River and Eric Joseph (Cassie) of PA; his grandparents Lorraine and Joseph Walijeski of South River, Patricia Barnhart of South River, and William Barnhart of Sayreville; his niece and nephew Eric and Scarlett of PA; his stepfather Mark Galgano of GA; as well as many loving cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Funeral services are scheduled for 9:30am on Tuesday from the M.A. Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue, South River with a 10am Mass at St. Mary of Ostrabrama RC Church in South River. Burial will immediately follow at Washington Monumental Cemetery.
