George Quinlan, age 75 of Cliffwood Beach, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022 at Bayshore Community Hospital. Born in South Amboy, he had lived Cliffwood Beach for many years. Before retiring, George worked for Matawan Board of Education. George was a beam of light, love, and humor to all that had the pleasure of sharing their lives with him. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and so much more. He will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
George is predeceased by his parents David & Anna Quinlan, his brother Charles Quinlan, his brother-in-law Don Brennan and sister-in-law Patricia Quinlan. He is survived by his beloved wife Lois Quinlan, his adored children and their spouses Jill Roche, April & Thomas McCarthy, and Holly & Dave Gartner, his much loved grandchildren Mark Roche, Aiden Roche, Thomas McCarthy, Matthew McCarthy and Kaylee Gartner, his adored siblings Mary Brennan, Dennis Quinlan, Dave & Mona Jean Quinlan and Beverly Quinlan as well as a host of family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
