Gene Charles "Bud"  Calvo
Gene Charles “Bud” Calvo, age 61 of Old Bridge passed away Thursday, December 17th 2015 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge. Born in New Brunswick he had resided in Piscataway before moving to Old Bridge 13 years ago. He was employed as a truck driver for Costco in Cranbury for 3 years and formerly for Toys R Us for 14 years. He was a US Army Veteran who served during the end of the Vietnam War. Gene enjoyed fishing, going to the movies, music and was an avid NY Yankees fan.

He is predeceased by his parents Manuel and Jean Calvo. Surviving are his wife of 12 years, the former Karen Levitt, his siblings Timothy Calvo and his wife Lorraine of Metuchen, Michael Calvo and his wife Bobbi of Trenton and Suzanne O’Brien of FL, his stepsons Zachary Golberg and his fiancé Lauren Augello of Laurence Harbor and Stephen Goldberg of Fords, his grandson Grady Goldberg, his best friend Michael Kiczula and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 8pm Monday at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a private cremation to follow.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Gene’s name to the American Liver Foundation @ liverfoundation.org.
