Condolence: I think of Frank every day, and keep him alive in my heart. (I've got his picture framed in my office and kiss him goodnight every night. Cornball, I know, but that's how much I loved him and miss him.) Sending heartfelt condolences to his family on the anniversary of his passing.

Condolence: I worked with Frank on a show called "Out of This World" in 1989 and learned a great deal from him in the writers' room. He was a real pro, and gifted at that. Gone too soon but certainly not forgotten. Until we meet again, old friend...

Condolence: Mr. M, What can I say? A friendship that started 27 years ago and grew only stronger over time and never wained... Your kindness and generosity knew no equal and an aspiring writer could have no better mentor. ...and all those movies and dinners, 3-4 a month for nearly 3 decades. Probably more bad pictures, then good and between the two of us, easily a ton of pastrami and brisket consumed. We kept the beef industry afloat during the dark times of vegans and vegetarians. “I'm not crazy about reality, but it's still the only place to get a decent meal” - Groucho Marx You will be missed...

Condolence: Frank's place on the South River High School Wall of Fame is well deserved. That and his special gift of humor captured in the episodes of the Simpsons that he penned means our memory of him will endure. Thanks, Frank, for the vicarious thrill you gave your classmates from the SRHS Class of '68 with all that you accomplished! Rest in peace.

Condolence: Frank Mula was, in no uncertain terms, a comedy genius. "I Love Lisa" and "Last Temptation of Homer" are each immortal works of television writing that are as funny today as they were when they aired almost 30 years ago. It's hard to say that about virtually any sitcom episode. At the same time, both these credits show a warmth of spirit and a genuine, essential kindness. May his memory be a blessing.

Condolence: Frank was an amazingly talented comedy writer who could always make me—and countless others—laugh. But I will remember him most for his warmth, his compassion, his generosity of spirit. After my husband died, he was my rock. He had a way of calming me down when I spun into advanced worry mode. He shlepped me to Dodger Stadium for my Covid shots. He showered me with Dewars and pretzels and Chinese takeout. His presence in my life was a blessing, one I will always treasure and sorely miss.

Condolence: We went to South River High School together. Frank was one year older, and we weren't hang out buddies. But, I do remember Frank's wonderful sense of humor. We reconnected a few years ago on Facebook, and I sensed that he kept his whitty personality. I know Frank will be missed by all of us who knew him. RIP, Frank.

Condolence: Frank was my friend. Wait, that's the wrong way to start this. Frank IS my friend... and I say "is" because just thinking in this moment of the many laughs we shared over 35 years in Writer's rooms, going to good and bad movies, losing money at the horse races and eating dinners, lunches and breakfasts in restaurants... (we enjoyed restaurants)... and the countless jokes, both told and heard, makes me smile as I write this. Being friends with Frank is about as close as anyone could get to being friends with Groucho Marx. I think that, to Frank, would be the highest compliment he would ever hope to be given. Frank Mula was the J. Cheever Loophole, Rufus T. Firefly and Wolf J. Flywheel of his times... And he was... and is my friend.
