Frank P. Kelly, age 73, of South Plainfield passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in New Brunswick, grew up in South River, raised his family in Monroe and had been living in South Plainfield for the past 5 years. Before his retirement, Frank worked as a meter reader with PSE&G for over 25 years.
He is predeceased by his parents Edward & Wilhelmina Kelly and his brothers Thomas and Jack Kelly.
Surviving are his partner of 22 years, Diana Krynski, his daughter Jessica DePaul and her husband Ryan, his son Ryan Kelly and his wife Nicole, his grandchildren Ashleigh and Makayla DePaul, Ryan, Gianna and Nico Kelly, Samantha & Hudson Coviello, his extended family Melissa and James Coviello, Joseph Krynski, his brothers Mickey and James Kelly, his sisters Marie Desrosiers, Doris Toth, Kathleen Padgett, Eileen Sousanes and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Calling hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin will be Monday from 4pm to 7pm. A prayer service will take place at 6pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Frank's name be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org
