Francis McDonnell, age 91 of Parlin, NJ passed away Tuesday April 9, 2019 at the NJ Veterans Memorial Home in Edison. Born in New York City, he has resided in Parlin for over 30 years. Before his retirement Francis worked as a postal clerk for the United States Post Office, Manhattan. He was a proud WWII veteran serving in the United States Air Force and served his parish as member of the St. Bernadette’s Knights of Columbus. Francis was a loving husband, father and friend he will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is predeceased by his loving wife Mary McDonnell and son Tyrone McDonnell. Surviving his children and their spouses Kimberly and John Pyne, Ron McDonnell, Jackie McDonnell and Gary McDonnell, his brother John McDonnell, his grandchildren Jordan, Sarah, Kyle, Rachel and Michael, his great grand children Jake and Lola as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral mass is being offered Friday 9:30am at St. Bernadette R.C Church, Parlin, with entombment to follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. Letters of condolence, complete funeral details and directions may be found on spezzifuneralhome.com
