Obituary for Francis Grimley
Francis J. Grimley, age 86 of South Amboy passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge. Born in South Amboy he was a lifelong city resident. Before his retirement he was employed as a lab technician by SWM Schwitzer-Mauduit in Spotswood for many years. Frank was a long-time member and volunteer of the South Amboy First Aid Squad.
He is predeceased by his parents John and Maude Grimley and his son Patrick Grimley. Surviving are his wife Lorraine, his son Michael Grimley, his daughter Kathleen Ramos and her husband John and his grandchildren Michael J. Grimley, Kyle Grimley and Kristina Ramos.
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a 9:30am Mass at St Mary’s RC Church in South Amboy. A private cremation will follow.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 2pm to 6pm.
