Frances Zinnanti D’Oro, age 94 of Monroe, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at The Gardens at Monroe, with her loving family by her side. Born in Manhattan, she had lived in New Jersey for the past 12 years. Before her retirement, Frances worked as a switchboard operator for Brunswick and Fils in Manhattan for several years.
She is predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2011 and her son Benedict in 2021.
Surviving are her children and their spouses Joann and Thomas McGuire, Joseph and Mindy D’Oro, her grandchildren Michele Delaney, Kerri Oswick, Thomas McGuire, Christopher D’Oro, Jessica D’Oro and Jillian D’Oro, 11 greatgrandchildren, and her sister Margaret Licciardi.
Funeral services will be Monday 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a 10:00am Mass at St. Benedict’s RC Church in Holmdel. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 2pm to 6pm.
