Obituary for Fran Wojcik Delaney (Toth)

Fran (Toth) Wojcik Delaney, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on April 9, 2021, at Embrace Hospice House in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Fran was born and raised in South River, New Jersey, before relocating to Myrtle Beach with her daughter in 2018. In South River, she was secretary/office manager for the Middlesex County Superintendent of Schools for 20 years before retiring in 2000. Prior to that, she was a legal secretary for many years in South River, Monroe, and New Brunswick.

Fran enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, dancing, shopping, and traveling domestically and internationally. She was also a member of the South River Seniors.

She was predeceased by her husband George Wojcik, her mother, Nellie (Nakielny) Toth Bogdan, her father, Frank Toth and her sister, Joan (Toth) Rossi.

She is survived by her son, Gregory Wojcik and his wife Carolyn (McGovern) of Manalapan, New Jersey; her daughter, Sheryl Lynn (Wojcik) Nevin-Wenski and her husband Walt of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina; two grandsons, Mark Nevin and Cari Baun of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Garrett Nevin and his wife Kaley (Lawrimore) of Columbia, South Carolina; a brother, Ray Toth of South River, New Jersey, and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 10am-12pm
at M.A. Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue, South River with prayers at 12pm. Burial will immediately follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in East Brunswick.
