Obituary for Eva Seltzer (Doukas)

Eva (Doukas) Seltzer, aged 49, of Sayreville, NJ, peacefully departed this life on Monday, September 4, 2023. Born in Plainfield, NJ, Eva spent her early years in Sayreville before starting a new chapter of her life in South Brunswick, NJ, where she lovingly raised her two boys.

Eva was a vibrant and joyful presence in the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. She lived life to the fullest, cherishing every moment and spreading laughter wherever she went. Eva's untimely passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will forever brighten the hearts of those who loved her.
Above all else, Eva's love for her family and friends was boundless. She was a devoted mother to her beloved sons, Ethan and Gavin, for whom she would move heaven and earth. Her dedication to them was unwavering, and her boys were her life's greatest treasures.

Eva is predeceased by her beloved husband, Kevin Seltzer. She is survived by her cherished sons, Ethan and Gavin Seltzer, her parents, Nicholas and Georgia Doukas, her sisters, Angela Anthony and Alexis Mazzola, and her husband, Anthony Mazzola. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Eva's spirit will forever remain in our hearts, a reminder of the joy, love, and laughter she brought into our lives. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the warmth of the love she shared with us.

Viewing hours will be held on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by an 11:00 AM service at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 41-47 Wisteria St in Perth Amboy, NJ. Burial will take place immediately following at New Calvary Cemetery 490 Washington Road, Parlin, NJ.
Funeral services are under the direction of the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, located at 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, NJ 08859.
