Eugenia Majewski, age 83, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at home with her loving family by her side. Born in Russia, she immigrated to the U.S. when she was 18. Eugenia was an amazing woman who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and colleague. She will truly be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.

She is predeceased by her parents Minah & Sofia, her beloved husband Edward Majewski, her sisters Valentina Kaminkov & Mary Guryn as well as her son-in-law Robert Timko. She is survived by her adored children Kathy Majewski & husband Sydney, Larisa Timko, Tamara Griebell and George Hnatenko & wife Vickey as well as her 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, her siblings Anton Dulski, Anastasia Glanzer, Nick Dulski and Antonia Grabowski and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Calling hours at the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Ave. South River, NJ 08882 are Thursday from 4pm to 8pm with a 7pm prayer service. Funeral services begin Friday at the funeral home 9:15am with a 10am Funeral Mass at Saint Euphrosynia Belarus Orthodox Church, South River.
