Obituary for Elnora Krygier (Nagy)
Elnora D. Nagy Krygier, age 85 of South Amboy, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 20, 2022 at Hackensack Meridian Hospital in Old Bridge with her loving family by her side. Born in Newark, she had lived most her life in South Amboy. Before her retirement, Elnora worked in customer service for Middlesex Water Company in Woodbridge for several years. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Amboy where she was a member of there Rosary Society. Elnora was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years Joseph “Buddy” Krygier in December of 2018.
Surviving are her loving children Raymond, Patricia Slade and her husband Mark, Karen Malik and her husband Joseph, Linda Kelly and her husband Thomas, her former daughter-in-law Alison DeFort, her cherished grandchildren Michael, Kristin, Timothy, Thomas Kelly Jr., Alexander and Benjamin Slade, her great-granddaughter Makynna, and many other loving family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be Friday 9:30am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with a 10:00am Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church in South Amboy. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Parlin.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday morning from 8:00am to 9:30am.
