Eleanor “Ellie” Ryniec Wilson, age 89 of Spotswood, passed away peacefully at Roosevelt Care Center in Old Bridge, with her loving family by her side. Born in East Brunswick, Ellie had lived in Spotswood for many years. Before her retirement, Ellie worked as a nurse’s aid for Summerhill Nursing Home. Ellie’s greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She is predeceased by her parents Frank and Catherine Ryniec and her sister Dolores Hofacker. Surviving are her daughter Patricia Bogdanowitz and her husband Gary, her grandchildren Don D’Amico and his wife Laurette, Tammy Jones and her husband Rich, Michelle Dmitrzak and her husband Joseph, Michael Bogdanowitz, 10 great-grandchildren and her brother Kenneth Ryniec and his wife Darlene.

Visitation at the funeral home will be held Wednesday from 3pm to 7pm. Funeral services will be Thursday 10am at the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Ave. South River, with a burial to follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in East Brunswick.
