Obituary for Elaine J "Babci" Konopka
Elaine J. Konopka, also know as Babci, age 76 of Parlin, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick from complications of Covid 19. Born in New Brunswick, she had resided in Sayreville for many years. Before her retirement, Elaine worked for Johnson & Johnson Personal Products in Milltown for 25 years, as well as Sunshine Biscuit in Sayreville for many years. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church in Sayreville.
She is predeceased by her parents Stanley and Stella Kolodziejski and her brother Raymond Kolodziejski.
Surviving are her loving daughter Joanne Martino and her husband Anthony, with whom she lived, her cherished grandchildren Amanda and Matthew Martino and her brother Stanley Kolodziejski and his wife Liz.
Funeral services will be Monday 9:00am at St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church in Sayreville followed by a private cremation. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main St. Sayreville, NJ 08872.
