Obituary for Elaine Hoffman (Ash)
Elaine Hoffman, age 82 of Melbourne Beach, Fl passed away on Friday, December 6, 2019 at her daughter’s home in Jamesburg. Born in Parlin she had resided in Florida for the past 27 years. Before her retirement she worked in the medical field in various capacities for numerous decades. Elaine was an accomplished actor, an advocate for social justice, was an active volunteer with sea turtle conservation programs and she very much enjoyed family traditions.
She is predeceased by her parents Nelson and Lula Ash, her husband John and her sisters Ann, Inez and Betty Lou. Surviving are her children Kathi Knight and her husband Bill Kelly of Jamesburg and Kevin Hoffman of Quakertown, PA, her grandchildren Tyler and Lucas Knight and Michael Kelly, and 4 nephews.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 15, 2019 at the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave, South River from 11am to 1pm. A Eulogy will be read at 12:30pm. A luncheon will follow immediately after at Ria Mar Restaurant, 25 Whitehead Ave, South River.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Elaine’s name to a charity of your choice.
