Obituary for Eileen Roberts
Eileen Roberts, age 54 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away Wednesday, June 24th 2015 at CareOne in East Brunswick with her loving family by her side. Born in South Amboy she was lifelong Sayreville resident. She was employed by Middlesex County as a Mail Clerk Supervisor in New Brunswick for 26 years. Eileen was a member of the AFSCME Local 3440 where she was also a past treasurer and Vice President.
She is predeceased by her parents Francis and Ida Roberts. Surviving are her daughter Jessica of Parlin, her siblings and their spouses Michael & Ellen of Matawan, Thomas & Patricia of Parlin and Kathleen Halmo of Parlin, many nieces, nephews and great- nieces and great- nephews and her always faithful companion, her dog Zeus.
A funeral service will be held Sunday 7pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 5pm to 8pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Eileen’s name to Kayla’s Crew Inc., 180 Wessco Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879, which gets forwarded to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (C.H.O.P.)
