Duane M. Schultz, age 60 of Spotswood passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 2, 2023 at home. Born in East Brunswick he had resided theremost of his life. Before his passing he retired from a long career in painting commercial and residential buildings along with his favorite, bridges. He will truly be missed by his loving family and friends.

Duane lived his life to the fullest during his last few years with us. He showed no fear no matter how many times he faced it throughout his life. Always showed how big his heart was when speaking with people that loved him and his stubborn ways. He will live with us through his sense of humor, his love of music, fast cars, fishing, crabbing and most importantly, his dedication to his family.

He is predeceased by his father George Schultz. Surviving are his son Duane Jr & his fiancé Valerie, his mother Sophie Schultz, grandchildren Dylan, Mackenzie & Zachary as well as his sisters Joyce York, Donna Moore and Darlene Schultz and brothers Shawn Schultz and Mark & his wife Deidre Schultz and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial Service hours will be held on Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm at the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave, South River.
