Dorothy F. Lehman, age 80 of Parlin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at JFK Hospital in Edison. Born in Old Bridge, she was a lifelong resident of Parlin. Before her retirement, Dorothy worked as a bookkeeper for Marion Ware in South Plainfield for several years. She was also a caregiver for several families throughout the years. She was an avid gardener and reader, and her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents Stanley and Victoria Golaszewski, her husband William Lehman Jr., her sisters Dolores Kushner, Stephanie Weir, and her brothers Walter, Edward and Frank Golaszewski.
She is survived by her son William B. Lehman III and his partner Margareta Warlick, her daughter Tammy Cordery and her husband Patrick, her grandchildren Jake Lehman, Patrick Cordery, Victoria Cordery, her nieces Debbie, Diane, Karen, her nephews Mark, Benjamin, Fred, her great-niece Kimberly and many other loving friends who will miss her dearly.
Calling hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, NJ will be Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. A prayer service will take place at 7pm. A private cremation will follow.
