Dorothy Bottomly, age 77, of South Amboy peacefully passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at her home in Parlin. Born in New Brunswick, Dorothy resided in the state her whole life. She graduated from South River High school and went on to work from South Amboy Hospital’s financial department. Dorothy will fondly be remembered for her love of trips to Atlantic City, her dedication to her Parish, St Mary’s in Barnegat, shopping, her monthly card game and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Dorothy is predeceased by her beloved husband Edward and son Kevin Bottomly. Surviving are her sons, Bryan Bottomly and Robert and his wife Erin Bottomly, her sister Sylvia and 6 grandchildren.
