Obituary for Donald Rzepka

Donald M. Rzepka, age 78, passed away at Bayshore Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday May 28, 2022. Born in South Amboy, he had resided in the city his entire life. Don was the proud owner and operator of Al's Auto Body and Towing Service for over 50 years. He was involved in his community as an honorary member of the South Amboy, Sayreville and Morgan First Aid Squads as well as the Morgan Fire Company. Don donated much of his time and resources to both the South Amboy and Sayreville PBAs. He earned the coveted Silver Shield lifetime member award from the Sayreville PBA for his community service and dedication. Don also proudly served his country as a veteran in the United States Army.

He is predeceased by his wife Gladys Rzepka and brother Charles Rzepka. Surviving are his daughters, Janet Rzepka and Jill and her husband George Forrer, his beloved granddaughter Jenna Napolitani and many loving cousins and friends.

Calling hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin will be held Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm. Funeral services will take place Wednesday at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home at 8am with a 9am funeral mass at St Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church in Sayreville with a burial to follow at St Stan’s Cemetery.
