David A. Zihala, age 62, peacefully passed away at his home in Parlin on Friday, August 5, 2022. Born in Perth Amboy Dave was a lifelong resident of Sayreville, having also lived in Spotswood for a brief time. Before his recent retirement, Dave worked with Lakeview Developers Ltd. in Parlin as a maintenance technician. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
David is predeceased by his parents Richard and Marie Zihala and his brother Rick Zihala, who recently passed in May 2022. Surviving is his beloved daughter Krystal Zihala and his former wife and dear friend Terry Zihala, both of Melbourne, FL; his loving siblings Teresa Kasubinski of Monroe Township and Steven Zihala of Naples, FL; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
