David A. Syslo, age 95 of Manalapan passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the Reformed Church Home in Old Bridge. He was born in Perth Amboy to the late Frank and Catherine Syslo. He was a proud US Army Veteran serving in World War II. Before his retirement he was employed at Chevron in Perth Amboy and later as the district safety supervisor for Chemical Leaman Tank Lines in Newark, NJ.

He is predeceased by his wife Hedwig (Hattie), his daughter Barbara Syslo, his brother Robert Syslo and his son-in-law Scott Douglas. Surviving are his daughters Mary Douglas of Sayreville, NJ and Janice Meyers of PA, his grandchildren and their spouses Thomas and Melissa Meyers of PA, Timothy Meyers and Ashley Branagan of CA, Kelly and Dr. Brian Radvansky of PA, Jeff & Megan Douglas of PA, Eric and Katelyn Douglas of Butler, NJ and Erin Douglas of Sayreville, NJ his great grandchildren Christian, Charlotte, Madeline, Benjamin, Evan, Lorelai, MacKenzie and another baby on the way, several nieces and nephews and his dear friend Jean Lowicki.
