Obituary for Daniel D Kilcomons

Daniel D. Kilcomons Sr., of Sayreville, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Born in South Amboy in 1934, he had lived in Sayreville for the past 58 years. Dan retired from the NJ Turnpike Authority in 2000. He was an avid classic car collector and loved spending time rebuilding them to their original glory with the guys at his shop. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, most especially his three beloved grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his parents William and Mary, and his siblings Norman, William “Roy”, Barbara Turner, Richard, Sister Mae, Thomas and Warren.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 58 years, Barbara, his loving sons and their spouses Daniel Jr. and Sue, Patrick and Lauren, Sean and Jodi, his cherished grandchildren Hannah, Liam, and Malia, his brothers and their spouses Joseph and Ann, John and Joyce, Edward and Christine, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be on Thursday 9:15am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a 10:00am Mass at Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville. Burial will follow at St. Stan’s Cemetery in Sayreville.
Calling hours at the funeral home will take place on Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm.
